Karen Kossow is a writer and advocate whose work combines resilience, self-care, caregiving, and education. She is President & co-founder of Fair Care Idaho, a certified master life coach, and founder of AI Powered Homeschool. As a neurodivergent mom raising two autistic kids, her advocacy and insights have been featured in The New York Times, CNN, and Bloomberg.

Karen Kossow is a writer whose work explores the intersections of resilience, self-care, disability, caregiving, and community. She is also the President & co-founder of Fair Care Idaho, a grassroots coalition focused on strengthening the state’s direct care workforce and ending the caregiver crisis.
As a neurodivergent mom raising two autistic children, Karen writes with honesty and lived experience about the resilience it takes to navigate modern parenthood. Beyond her advocacy and writing, she supports parents as a certified master life coach, helping them prioritize resilience and build systems that fit their unique lives.
After more than a decade of homeschooling, Karen launched AI Powered Homeschool, an entrepreneurial venture designed to help families simplify and personalize education with practical tools and strategies. Her work and advocacy have been featured in The New York Times, CNN, and Bloomberg. She also writes weekly updates on her Substack, The Self-Care Support Squad.
